Dr Kakish is a compassionate pediatrician dedicated to providing comprehensive care to children and families. She was born in Jordan, received her MD at the University of Edinburgh in the UK, and went on to pursue her pediatric residency training at St Joseph's Children's hospital in New Jersey. As one of the largest charity care hospitals in the state serving a very diverse community, St Joseph's Children's Hospital has provided Dr Kakish with extensive experience in primary care pediatrics as well as experience treating a wide range of rare and more complex conditions.

Throughout her training, Dr Kakish has been involved in neonatal medicine and autism research, as well as volunteering with children in underserved communities. She is fluent in both English and Arabic and has growing proficiency in Spanish as well. Her diverse upbringing and educational background have cultivated a deep understanding of cultural intricacies in healthcare. Her skill in bridging linguistic and cultural divides ensures that families from various backgrounds feel genuinely understood and respected in their children's care.

Dr Kakish currently lives in Hackensack around her extended family. In her spare time, she enjoys music, dancing and traveling.
